I create my glasswork in the mountains of beautiful Southern Vermont where I reside with my wife and daughter. I began my journey with glass in the spring of 1999 at a small soft glass studio in Western Massachusetts. It was through over a decade at the furnace that I learned how molten glass moved.
I spent many years striving for clean form in everyday objects. In 2006 I began designing work in collaboration with a local flame worker named Joe Peters. He introduced me to my new passion; flame working. For the past three to four years I have adapted my furnace working knowledge to the torch. I have also embraced another everyday object… the pipe.
